Gentrification has happened in almost every baseball park where a new stadium
was built over the past 15-20 years.
We've seen it in Baltimore, with the number of corporate boxes increasing and
folks talking on cell phones instead of watching the game.
The corporate box and sky box has taken baseball away from the old time fans who
have found themselves priced out of the box seats.
We used to walk into Memorial when the kids were younger and be able to afford
lower box seats. Now when we go to the Yards [when we go] its either nosebleed
or the bleachers.
Oh well
