When I was in the CIC in Berlin in the fifties I worked for a CWO who 
told me, "John, I hate professional Texans, professional Southerners and 
professional Irishmen and unfortunately, Iim from all three groups".  I 
think that he had it right.  Run into anyone who bloviates about 
belonging to any group  and his analogy applies.
