There is of course sometimes a fine line between being aggressive and  
unnecessary, game-jeopardizing penalties, which we did in fact see during the  
Walker era.  My point is that the Cats on Saturday appeared lackluster and  
tentative, something which disturbs me much more than an occasional roughness  call.

I'm not a big  fan of the 'take-no-prisoners' attitude.  I've seen teams
lose games  and sometimes even kill off their postseason hopes with dumb 
penalties due  to over-aggressive play too many times, at both the college 
and pro  levels.  

Play hard, but play smart too.

You don't have to  be 'bad' to be good.
