[NU Sports] Boston College

With all due respect to Boston, if I want to recruit a professor, I might consider Boston.

If I want football talent, I'll be looking at the South and the West.

Rivals doesn't even publish top-5 lists for Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Mass, Conn, or RI.

New York only has a top-10, I believe. All the Northeast talent is in PA and NJ (a top-40 list in PA, and a top-30 list in Jersey)

We already play in PA, we played in Jersey a couple of times.

I say attack the South and West (IF we are scheduling for recruiting advantage)

Everybody knows California, Texas and Florida (the states with top-100 lists). Ohio and Georgia have top-50's, and Louisiana and PA have top-40's.

Possible I-A's

Southern Mississippi
South Florida (Tampa is very nice this time of year)
UCF
Louisiana Tech
San Diego State
SMU
North Texas
Tulane
Louisiana Lafayette
Rice
Louisiana Monroe
Florida International

Chuck Herron Tech '85

BC would help recruiting in that neck of the woods, just like, I hope, Mark
Loretta is while playing for Boston.

Can't get enough coverage in the Boston Papers....and after last weekend, some
more positive stuff for NU would be nice too.
