In the first half it was great, it the second it was
nonexistent. Part of that may have been falling behind
before half and forcing us to pass more - but UNH
adjusted to our sweeps and we needed to do more up the
gut with Jordan.
Speaking of which - was Sutton hurt? It seemed like he
didn't play the second half. Maybe it was just because
Jordan was a better north-south runner.

Exactly - Kafka made a lot of mistakes, but there was
a lot to like for NU fans too.

It was almost a mirror of NU's game. Inexperienced QB
... no help from the rest of the team thanks to
turnovers ... fall behind and get blitzed and make
more mistakes.
I hope Lloyd Carr hits his head this week and doesn't
go into his usual ultra-conservative ND game crunch
because the Irish are not this good!

Me too on both accounts. Yikes Illini! And Iowa???
