Yeah - we need to work on that ground game. The good
news was that Kafka's throws looked crisp in the
second half and the O-line gave him time. Hope that
continues against the Big Ten.

Dunno about that ... I'm not sure we're a good team
yet and I really don't care about the score as long as
we win. And New Hampshire may not be the cupcake some
expect - they're probably a tougher test than EMU.

No doubt - no need to get carried away with the win, I
agree. But it was just a nice win to see, given all
that had happened. To have a new QB, OC and HC and a
swirl of emotion and yet play solid football was a
nice testament to not only Walker's recruits and Fitz'
staff, but the student leaders on the team who had to
step up and fill the shoes of #14 and #41.
Plenty to work on but a solid start. I agree that
having the extra couple days will be nice to help the
staff work through the film (and kinks) and get the
team ready for the home opener. One game at a time -
trust the plan.
