After watching the TiVo, a few more comments ...

1) I loved the team walk out of the tunnel arm in arm.
Yeah, a bit Iowa-esque, but also a great symbol of the
team and what it needs to be this year more than ever.

2) Not sure what the problem running the ball was (I'm
thinking our OC's rhythm on play calling still wasn't
quite there), but the pass protection was great.

3) The secondary had some nice knock downs turning
around to play the ball.

Not a perfect game, but a great start to the season
for the young team. Kafka looked good, the players
looked focused and we didn't beat ourselves (the 4th
down call early was a good move but maybe not the best
play call). We're still young and have a tough
schedule, but given everything we've been through the
past two months, you couldn't ask for a better opening
from our new coach Fitz and our team. Gotta win the
gottawins!
