Well, though I rarely agree with you John, but I definitely do here.   The 
guy turned around our program.  How many on this list really paid any  attention 
to NU football before ND in '95?  I for one would have no problem  with him 
helping Fitz get his sea legs.  Fitz is the long term solution,  but we don't 
want to give up all the excellent recruiting equity we have  achieved because 
we can't be respectable short term.  If Murphy is fine  with a role for 
Barnett, I think it would be a positive move.  He not  only won, but ran a clean 
program.  The Colorado stuff was B.S.   That's why they didn't fire him until he 
was losing....Of course, it's probably  moot because I believe he is moving in 
other directions.
