> Yes, Tyrell was in at the end, trying to run back the final kickoff. Not sure about any others.

And if he'd succeeded, it would have been a brilliant move. However, you
can probably can count on one hand the number of times last second
desperation plays work. Let's see, the Stanford Band play, Hail Flutie
Colorado vs Michigan, what else? (Victory Right in Minnesota a few years
ago was different, the score was tied at the time.)

I think the decision to have Roach in on punt coverage was valid, even if
that's when he got injured.

Watch Virginia Tech games, they have plenty of starters on special teams.
And I think Beamer Ball had its 100th blocked kick earlier this season.

Yeah, there's risk, but as I recall we had a kicker hurt his knee just
jumping up and down at midfield a few years ago.

Injuries will happen, the coaches make the personnel decisions they think
will give the team the best chance to win, and there are always risks
involved.

If they work, the coach doesn't always get the credit, but if they don't
work, the coach always gets the blame, That's why the coach makes more than
the guys flipping burgers under the stands.
