[NU Sports] ugliest game ever? (fwd)

Murph should take the load off of Fitzgerald at this time that's why
Murphy should call such a meeting, not Fitz. Murph should also be
running his rolodex to find assistant coaches; maybe the jucos have some
up and coming assistants. If assistant coaches don't want to work for a
coach who is substantially younger, he ought to adopt the philosophy of
a friend of mine who worked for IBM in Endicott. IBM liked to run
marketing guys through the manufacturing operations to give them a sense
of what goes on when they get an order. My friend had a policy of never
hiring someone coming in that way who was making less money than he
was. He was looking for people who saw going through manufacturing as a
career enhancer. Same concept here. NU will have to pay more than the
going rate to get some quality assistants that don't get hung up in
their underwear worrying about working for a head coach that may be
substantially younger than they are. The other alternative is to sit by
and watch Fitz drown because of the lousy coaches that he inherited.
