If Murphy is dumb enough to call such a meeting or make such a statement, 
he should be fired! 

The only decision Murphy should be allowed to make is whether or not to 
fire Fitz.  

Let Fitz decide who he wants his coaches to be, in consultation with Murphy,
but it should be Fitz's call.  There obviously wasn't time to make any 
adjustments before this season, and whether or not there are any changes
after the season should be Fitz's call.  The success or failure of Fitz's
tenure as coach will depend largely on his choices for assistant coaches.

Thankfully, none of us will have any impact on any of those decisions, 
and none of the negativity boiling over after today's game should have 
any impact on recruiting, either.   (Recruits DO read the fan boards, but 
most of them are smart enough to know that most fans know very little about 
how football is played.) 

FWIW, I've already heard two 'talking heads' on TV say that Smith is toast
at the end of the season despite today's record-breaking game.  We'll see.
