[NU Sports] Questions

Just a little gossip to add to the mix.

I've heard through a third party close to a football parent that at least
one of the kids on the team describes serious "problems" with the new OC and
DC.

Don't know anything more than that, but the poor performances that we've
seen appear to be causing our kids to ask some of the same questions that
are being asked on this list.

Purple Gang,

I was out of town , rather, out of the planet, which is Potter County,
Pa. at my buddy's hunting lodge. It sits between 2 mountains, and has no
TV.
Yes, it has electricity and running water, but information is....scarce.
Anyway, I read "the accounts and description", and one thought came to
mind:SOS. The defense made enough plays and kept them in the game for 2
and
1/2 quarters, but...nothing. We scored 10 points on a team that gave up 35
points to Indiana STATE, and 31 to Miami (Oh.).
   As Mike N. says in his bi-monthly posts, say something  original;
something that you would ask yourself, would you pay $ to read this post?
I can't,
but I'll try. Our offensive line is a disappointment, but with all the
changes, I can't believe that Brewer is starting. The situation screams for
Bacher. Brewer and Kafka someday may be good, but both are WAY over their
heads.
We need a passer. I must be missing something.
I'm afraid that we'll be reading about another QB battle next summer. I
concur with Brad Wilson; find a QB before the end of the year.
As far as Fitz's situation, he is owed this year as a honeymoon. I
believe Mark Murphy will help our young coach. He's the type who doesn't
like to lose, so he can help Fitz in the area of coaching changes.
From what I've read, our recruiting seems to be going better than usual,
although that may grind to a screeching halt.
The fallout from RW's passing has been painful; more painful than what I
thought. I saw a .500 season coming, but I didn't think the bottom would
drop out. It has, and it will continue. All I want is a "W" against MSU
or Ill-noise (or both!) and to find a QB. I've rambled enough....

GO CATS!!! Trust the Plan, Eric
