MY PICKS
========
* PENN STATE 31, Illinois 13
C: Lions start slow after last week's tough loss, but
finish strong to pull away.

* OHIO STATE 38, Indiana 6
C: The Hoosiers are on a roll ... but they aren't
ready to win at the Shoe yet.

* MICHIGAN 23, Iowa 10
C: The Hawks are dangerous after being wounded last
week by the Hoosier upset and now cornered by Michigan
- but Big Blue's D and focus are too much.

* MINNESOTA 56, North Dakota State 0
C: Should be a hockey game instead.

* WISCONSIN 28, Purdue 17
C: Dangerous trap game here. The Boilers put up a
fight for a half at home, but the Badgers are starting
to gain confidence in leaps and bounds and could start
sniffing a BCS bid soon if they win out.

* TENNESSEE 42, Alabama 9
C: Speaking of BCS bids, if Tennessee runs the table
and doesn't have to play the SEC title game, they
might be a strong candidate for an at-large berth.

* TEXAS 35, Nebraska 17
C: The Huskers aren't back yet. Horns cruise in
Lincoln.

* FLORIDA STATE 21, Boston College 10
C: The Eagles might win this one up north, but not in
Tallahassee.

* CLEMSON 37, Georgia Tech 30
C: Dandy of a game in the ACC, but the Tigers are at
home and will have just enough to squeak by the
Jackets.

* PITTSBURGH 21, Rutgers 14
C: The dream season comes to an end for the Knights as
the Panthers are on a legit roll.

And off the board ...

* NORTHWESTERN 24, Michigan State 21
C: Last time I'll be able to pick the Cats for awhile
- always tough to know which MSU team will show up ...
but if the Cats open up the offense a bit, they should
be able to compete for homecoming.

Standings soon and picks due by Saturday!
GO CATS!!!
