[NU Sports] Cubs Managerial Job

I am quite glad Girardi did not get the Cubs job.  

To be successful in Chicago he would have to dump almost the entire 
roster and start over, which takes time.  With the Cubs you have a lot 
of money invested in a bunch of unhealthy/old stiffs.

I think he is a better manager with a younger(cheaper) team that he 
can mold to his personality vs. jaded veterans who won't change.
