[NU Sports] I can live with losing a game ...

Not much to say except it was a mirror image of the PSU game; we gave up a
lot of yards, but for 2 and a half quarters, we got turnovers and held Bucky
to FG's.
My concern is with our offensive line, but then again, everyone is
putting 8,9 guys in the box, daring us to beat them. I congratulate Brewer for at
least trying the deep ball to thompson; maybe we'll do better at home against
Purdue and Michigan St.
I think we all know that 6-6 is out of the picture, but I say it's too
early to start planning for next season. In light of all our knpwn problems,
5-7 would be a good place to start. This season reminds me of 1999; RW's
first season before the spread. The defense would keep us in games...to a point.
The offense struggles mightily in Kustok's first season, just as we did in
2002 with BB.
This is where I'm at: The last 3 years saw a better grade of ball with a
lot of big wins. With all the changes over the last few months, let's hope
that 2007 sees the sustained success that RW had brought to the program.

Still trusting the Plan, Eric
