... but losing recruits -- especially to a league
rival -- is a recipe for long-term disaster. 

I remember a linebacker de-committing from Rutgers
(and going to Minnesota) that started a avalanche of
bad news for the Terry Shea regime -- I hope this is
not the case here.

I dislike paying intense attention to recruiting --
not enough hours in the day for all that stuff -- but
will this become an issue with more kids, do people
think? A few more 41-9 debacles and we may not have a
recruiting class.
