Actually they have made it  "thru the post season" 6 times , but only once in 
recent times probably  because of their lack of pitching ,defense and ability 
to employ small ball when needed, through the years--I will not be happy if 
they let Loretta go--embodies the reason why the Sox  had the best defensive 
infield in the league this year, and hate to not have a  fellow alum to doubly 
root for
