[NU Sports] Sorensen decommits from NU; commits to Wisconsin

I just heard about this today, although apparently it was news over the

There was some discussion about it over on NU's Rivals site message boards,
where the story broke on Friday.  I'm disappointed, as I think Sorensen has
been underrated and will turn out to be a really good player.  He is an
incredible linebacker on the top-ranked large-school team in Minnesota, but
he's been playing offense too and scoring a lot (two more touchdowns on a
reception and a run Friday night).  The story is that he wanted to go to
Wisconsin originally but they weren't interested, so he took the NU offer
this summer.  Now the Badgers have come around, and Sorensen jumped ship.
Reports also indicate that other schools seem to think that means it's now
open season on McNaul too but that McNaul's verbal remains solid.

 

Salt in the wound . . . as if getting demolished on the field Saturday
wasn't enough.
