[NU Sports] Wisky prediction

It's been a long time since a game brought so little  reaction.  All the talk 
has been about ESPN's decision to broadcast the  game online, not about the 
game itself.  Perhaps it's our way of avoiding  this weekend?
   QB- Brewer, Kafka, Bacher vs. Stocco. OUCH.  I really  like Stocco.  He 
reminds me of Schnur.  All accounts say that Brewer  will go tomorrow.  
   I really believe that if Bacher didn't hurt himself, he may  have provided 
stability to our offense.  Add to Bacher going down along  with Mathews and 
Thompson, and we should have seen a slow start  coming.
   I would like to see Bacher start (providing he is healthy, as  most 
sources say he is).  I would like Brewer to play slotback/WR, and  Kafka as the 
backup, who would play 1-2 series per gameto run/stay sharp.   We need to shake 
things up.
   As far as this game goes, I see a 38-17 loss.  I  predicted a 17-31 loss 
last week, and our defense did an admirable job of  keeping us in the game.  
Stocco will hit a few balls that Morelli  missed.
   I see a win at all costs game at home vs. Sparty.  Not a  bad place to be. 
 In 2003 and 2004 we saved our season with huge wins when  we were 2 games 
below .500.  Yes, we'll need to beat MSU and Purdue, and  still need to beat one 
of OSO/Mich/Iowa and Illinois to go 6-6, but  one game at a time.  
   Tomorrow, we need to see improvement on offense.  Our  defense will keep 
us in games, but it's time for our 1998-like offense to look  like our 2003-05 
offense.  As always.,
