Umm... those who "built the internet" (Postel?  Berners-Lee?  JWZ? 
Andreesen?  Norstad?  Pib?) probably don't fall into the class I was 
describing above.  Except for Al Gore. ;-)

Google "dot com bubble" and "destroyed pension plans" for more 
information.  These are the types of people who didn't get it when Homer 
said, "They have the Internet on computers now?"

Ha!  I think my youthful myopia will just result in a stronger 
prescription from my optometrist.
