I could see leagues with a little less integrity thinking about this (the old CFA guys - SEC, Big 12), but the Big Ten (and Pac-10 as well) have higher principles - I couldn't ever see them moving away from pure revenue sharing.

I believe that's because for years the Big 10 only went to the Rose, and
everyone else stayed home. I wonder if the conference would ever consider
changing that since so many schools go to bowls now. ?
