[NU Sports] PIGSKIN PICKS - Week 14

Standings will be out by tomorrow, but first we get to
the final week of the regular season. We could add a
few of the lesser games for a full ten, but instead
we're just focusing on the big five -- three BCS
berths at stake for the conference title games and two
other games that will influence the BCS for the Pac 10
and Big East.

All picks due by kickoff Saturday.

* WEST VIRGINIA 38, Rutgers 21
C: It'd be a nice story to see the Knights in the BCS,
but the Mountaineers won't lose two in a row at home
and Rutgers won't be able to keep up with the
firepower.

* USC 31, UCLA 21
C: Closer than last year's debacle, but SC still hangs
on comfortably to head to the title game.

* WAKE FOREST 35, Georgia Tech 20
C: The ACC has screwed up my picks way too many times
this year for me to do anything but flip a coin
here!:)  Go Deacons!

* FLORIDA 17, Arkansas 7
C: The Gators are BCS bound either way, but LSU
probably needs to cheer on the Gators to get the
at-large berth. The Hogs are tough, but the Gators are
tougher.

* OKLAHOMA 28, Nebraska 21
C: Just like it used to be ... the Big XII folk get
their dream matchup when the conference was first
formed. Stoops has done a great job this year and
won't let the Red Sea at Arrowhead derail their Fiesta
bid.
