Was it just me, or was Brent Musburger a pathetic shill tonight for the  Evil 
Empire ?  After too much of Brent's cheerleading, I had to turn  down the 
sound and just watch the pictures (the radio coverage was if course  Criqui and 
company, and unlistenable).  Can we get Musburger's name  expunged from page 24 
of the Media Guide ?  His cheerleading is an  embarrassment.
 
Why was the general public subjected to 3 hours of shameless cheerleading,  
and touting of Brady Quinn's NFL draft prospects ?  The only people  interested 
in Brady Quinn's draft prospects should be the Quinn family, and NFL  General 
Managers.
 
We were also subjected to too much campaigning for the bad guys to get a  
Rose Bowl bid.  The Rose Bowl should remember the way the Evil Empire  dissed the 
Big Ten a few years back, and (not so) politely tell them to go to  hell... 
 
Having said all of that, I am still glad SC pounded on them by 20...if only  
it could have been by 40.  Thanks to the men of Troy.
