[NU Sports] Our feelings are hurt again (fwd)

I know this is primarily a football crowd, but NU does have its second
game of the season in basketball tonight.  DePaul will be a tough
challenge for the Wildcats.  They are a run and gun type team.  NU may
have a chance if they can keep control of the tempo all game.  NU has
won 7 of the 12 games the teams have played at Welsh-Ryan.
 
An interesting sideline in tonight's game will be the match-up between
NU's Tim Doyle and DePaul's Sammy Mejia.  They played against each other
back east and would both love to have bragging rights.  
 
It amazes me how you football guys get so excited about being "bowl"
eligible with a 6-6 record but seem to ignore the fact that Carmody has
brought consistency to basketball program that needed it.  He does need
to take that next step and get to the NCAA's.  It appears that this
year's freshmen and next year's recruits have a chance to get us there.
We just need to keep them in school-a task that has eluded not only
Carmody but many of his predecessors as well.
