Ross Said after Ted asked him about C.J. Bacher's season that started just a
couple of weeks ago:

"I guess its his third start? He's doing great, he's handling it well -
controversy in the beginning of the season kind of kept him out and he showed
up, he's making plays, he's running our offense very well."

FWIW - Ross and C.J. were good buddies during their redshirt years and I suspect
that C.J.'s frustration was known by guys in his class, particularly on the
offense. To everyone's credit, CJ stayed focused on the job of continuing to
learn the offense until he got his chance.

Its great to see him playing so well and to see him continue to improve.

If there was controversy, it could have been McGee's desire not to play injured
players if possible. CJ's injury was bad for the season, but did diffuse a lot
of the discussion over the QB controversy until CJ was ready to take over. It
just kinda screwed up Fitz' first season.
