[NU Sports] Defense, replacing John L

While two games isn't a trend yet, there are any number of reasons why 
the defense could have 'suddenly' gelled, and why coaches who looked
inept for several years could be looking better and feeling a bit more
secure in their jobs.

However, Colby's critic do not appear interested in reason, so I won't
offer them, except to say that Fitz may be more interested and involved 
in the defensive plans than Walker was.  

I will say, though, that I don't see Colby being a hot candidate for
jobs at other schools at this point.

On the other hand, I think Bo Pelini at LSU may be on a number of short
lists, including, if they're smart,  MSU's.  (He's got strong midwest ties, 
being an OSU alum and having worked for the Packers for several years and 
Nebraska for a year.)
