[NU Sports] Zach Strief ...

Just saw on the Fox pregame that my beloved Saints
will be giving Zach Strief his first start this week
against that old Illini pain Simeon Rice. GO CATS!!!
GEAUX SAINTS!!!

BTW, a quick side story on Strief ... my step-brother
is a 3rd grader in Appleton, Wis., where many of the
Packer foes stay the night before the game in Lambeau.
When the Saints visited in week 2, he decided to go to
the hotel for some autographs and actually got most of
the big names -- Bush, Horn, Brees, etc.

So he's telling me about meeting my Saints and he also
mentiones how he had some NU gear on (of course!:) )
and how one player - Zach something - actually sat
down and talked with him and his mom for awhile and
how he thought it was the coolest thing ever.

It's always nice to hear stories like that and how
NU's not just putting some kids into the NFL, but some
quality people as well. Go Zach!
