I concur with the congratulations to our Wildcats who fought hard today and
came out with a well-deserved win. Definitely credit Sutton who had some
nice runs, particularly in the second half, to help the 'Cats churn out the
win. Bacher had some nice passes but looks like he is still developing, but
still he gave NU what it needed to win. Also another credit for the defense
who really shut down Iowa today and came up with big turnovers.

I would like to correct something regarding the kicking - it was Brian
Huffman who went 1-6 on field goals at TCU in 2004 (not Howells). Huffman
came in as a punter and was switched to place kicker once Larscheid and
Howells weren't panning out.

I do agree that a week after having a very solid special teams effort
against Michigan it looked pretty bad today with some bad punts and the
missed 22 yd. field goal.

NU left some points on the field with that missed FG and the interception in
the red zone but they fought hard and finally played a "complete" game for
the win.
