It's gonna be real interesting to see who they get in
there (Izzo's friend Mariucci I know is the fan fave).

MSU's always had this massive inferiority complex in
football to the Maize and Blue and are always
self-hating, self-collapsing and self-destructive in
their chase of the Wolverines.

But if they get the right coach in there ... watch
out. 

If they can give up the chase of Michigan and focus on
football, there's no reason MSU shouldn't be a
consistent contender for the Rose Bowl.

With Smith out, the new hotseat in the Big Ten
probably goes to Glen Mason. It's a down year for the
Gophers and they're still trying to get over that
proverbial hump into a major bowl game ... but the
seat's still not THAT hot.
