[NU Sports] just remarkable

The NU spring sports renaissance is astounding. Every
team is competitive and most are nationally ranked!
For a small private school this is fantastic. I salute
those involved in ALL these sports' success -- well
done!! 

It also begs the question: football, wrestling,
swimming, men's soccer, all the spring sports
successful ... while the two basketball programs
flounder (though the men are more successful than the
dreadful women's team). What's the difference? I
wonder.

BTW has there ever been a brainier Final 4 in NCAA
history than in women's lacrosse? Notre Dame as the
"jock" school -- unusual.
