According to the WNUR announcers, who did a terrific account of the game,
there are two 3 minute overtime periods (no sudden death).
If the game remains tied following the two OTs, then sudden death goes into
effect.

Congratulations to the girls and now just one more win for the repeat.
To clarify an earlier statement about the Dukies. They wore sweatbands
on their wrists with "No excuses, No regrets" and the uniform numbers of
the three indicted boys. They had originally discussed wearing
"Innocent" on the sweatbands but their coach decided against it. The No
Excuses, No Regrets was the boys team theme for the year, not to mention
its secondary meaning.
The Cats played a great game and got a much deserved win.
I have a question for someone who is more familiar with lacrosse rules
than I am. Why were there two overtimes, when NU scored in the first
OT? Are there automatically two overtimes of 3 minutes each, no matter
what?
Mark
