My take on the Schooler tome about his roommate was different from some
folks.  I felt it was more of a light-hearted anecdote used to give some
history for the rest of us to understand where a poster was coming from.
I didn't feel that he deserved to be slammed for what he wrote.  I also
don't feel like he should need to resign from the list.  Although I am
growing tired of all the posts about other topics besides our Cats, I do
feel that most of the posts have been acceptable although some have
bordered on the ridiculous.  

I for one find all the talk about conservatives or liberals tiring and
short-sighted.  None of the issues facing our country should be defined
in black and white terms (or should I say red and blue).  What ever
happened to the idea that politicians should do what is right for our
country and not what is right for their party?  What ever happened to
diplomacy?  Where are all the statesmen?  If you want to discuss
politics why don't you talk about that?
