Is this the same Michael Barrett who sucker punched a guy because he didn't
like getting knocked down?
I concede that he probably does have a heart, but he acted more like the
scarecrow and the lion (lacking brains and courage).
This is baseball, not ballet.
If you are going to block the plate, whether you've got the ball or not, you
better expect that you are going to get knocked down.
As far as an explanation of the train wreck on the north side, there is
plenty of blame to go around including clueless yuppie fans who go to the
pretty little ballpark for the experience rather than the game. The cubs
aren't cursed by the billy goat. They are cursed by complacency born of the
cash cow that is Wrigley.

Let's talk about how Michael Barrett is the only cubs with some heart and
how Dusty Baker should be fired for pretty much leaving his player out to
dry on national TV. Fire Baker that is who needs to be fired. Him and his
potent
1.9 runs a game.
Finally AJ had it coming and Barrett gave it to him. Although all post game
interviews Barrett, AJ, Ozzie, and (Fire) Dusty all said it was over.
