[NU Sports] Roosevelt - AND LETS TALK ABOUT NU SPORTS!

Wow, I read Bob's message and I could not believe it
was from the NU Sports List.

I've never met Jim, but I happened to know that he is
a passionate Wildcat fan and that is all I (and I
assume most of the people on this list) need to know
about Jim.

Hey people, as many of you had already mentioned, our
beloved Wildcats have a great Spring. I had never seen
or even care about lacrosse until our Wildcats won the
national championship. Last month I taped one of the
few games on TV - Johns Hopkins versus NU. I had
watched the tape twice already, trying to understand
the game. Our Wildcats are fast and athletic. Just
like our football team, our lacrosse team was on
attack mode all the time. Johns Hopkins spent most of
the time on defense.

Duke and NU are the two highest seeds left in the
tournament. If we beat Duke, we should be on our way
to another national trophy. I think we will beat Duke
this time. Revenge factor is one thing but last time
we lost to them was after a long road trip.

A personal note here - my niece was a student-athlete
at Duke. So I kind of like the Blue Devils. But this
time I will cheer our Wildcats crashing the Blue
Devils in women lacrosse. I visited my niece at Durham
in 2003 and I witnessed our football team beat the
Blue Devils 28-10. I had a great time but of course I
could not show my over-joyous celebration in front of
my niece.

Go Cats, beat them all - lacrosse, softball, golf,
baseball, and tennis (we did not get the team title,
but we still have 3 Wildcats fighting for individual
title).
