I for one am getting VERY tired of reading about the topics of r******
and p******* on this list.  I don't care who is a c********** or a
l******.  My feeling about our recent presidents is that the longer they
stay around the less highly I think about them.  That is how I feel
about the recent threads coming from this list.  The more we talk about
the above topics the less I am interested in reading them.
 
This has been a great weekend for NU sports.  I went to both the
softball game on Friday and the lacrosse game on Saturday.  Both NU
teams were dominant.  Eileen Canney pitched a great game.  The Salukis
only hit two or three balls out of the infield and none of those for a
hit.  There was only one inning where they got more than one baserunner
and that was due to a walk and an error.  
 
The lacrosse team looked beatable in the first half.  They let a 3 to 1
lead slip away and were behind 5 to 3 with about 3 minutes left in the
half.  By halftime they were up 6 to 5 and after only a few minutes in
the second half they had scored 7 unanswered points.  They out-quicked
UNC and thoroughly dominated the game.  This was a team effort.  
 
Both teams not only won in convincing fashion but played like champions.
They played well but also played with class.  It is time for all of us
on the list to do the same.  Show some class.  Enough of the mindless
bashing.
