To be honest, I don't think sports teams in Great Britain automatically get a
photo-op with HRH...
 
As I grow older, I get tired of people who think they're smarter than I am,
telling me what to do and think, and picking my pocket to pay for whatever it is
they're fired up about today.You can call them "liberals," or "progressives," or
"the socially aware," but deep down inside most are just socialists, who want
the government to run EVERYTHING for the common good.
 
What was the old joke about Columbus and FDR? Both didn't know where they were
going, or what they would do when they got there, and they did it all with
somebody else's money? <g>
 
The problem is that even the early Christian church tried it [read Acts] and it
lasted about a month before somebody decided that they were "more equal" than
the rest.
 
I've learned over the years that dealing with large groups of people is like
herding cats, you run around a lot. I'm getting to old and fat to bother any
more.
 
Please, no ad hominum attacks, I've got too much to do today...
