[NU Sports] Flips flops year round!

The 'flip flop' is actually fashionable to wear year round (or was this past winter - they're probably on to the next new thing already).  I was surprised to see lots of current college students wearing 'flip flops' at sporting events I attended at NU this past winter.
 
I don't get this, but I've never been accused of being a slave to fashion.
