Okay, I've just pulled out my Fiddler CD, and I'll take my crack at it,
going through the list of song titles:
1. Tradition - NUMB forming the N at midfield before the game.
2. Matchmaker - are NU and Randy Walker the perfect match? Reasonable
minds differ, but recent season suggest the match is working out.
3. If I Were a Rich Man - Dennis already covered this one
4. Sabbath Prayer - the games are on Saturdays, which of course is the
Sabbath. We've needed to say a few prayers for a number of games, I'd say.
5. To Life -- Jason already covered this one, and it applies to RW, too
6. Miracle of Miracles - I'd say the Iowa game last season would cover
this category
7. The Dream - going back to the Rose Bowl
8. Sunrise, Sunset - We wake up on Saturday mornings in the fall
thinking about the upcoming game, and hopefully by sunset we have
another NU victory.
9. Wedding Dance - I'll leave this one to someone more creative
10. Now I Have Everything - a Rose Bowl victory (well, at this point,
any bowl victory)
11. Do You Love Me? - that's what RW asks of Frank Loomis and John DeGroat
12. The Rumor - this is up to date: rumor has it that both Eric
Peterman and Gerard Hamlett are being switched to cornerback for 2006.
13. Far From the Home I Love - the way all of us feel when we're away
from Evanston when the team pulls off another great victory at Dyche/Ryan.
14. Anatevka - Jason already covered this one
