Paul-

I think it was apparent, after watching how we played against PSU three 
times, that the matchup was just horrendous against PSU.  Sometimes 
basketball comes down to matchups of individual personnel and matchups 
of offensive style vs. defensive style.  I think that the matchups were 
so disadvantageous against PSU that if we played them ten times and then 
played any other team in the league ten times, we'd probably get more 
wins out of the latter.

Maybe I'm just making excuses, but I don't really see any other explanation.
