It all goes back to the inability to recruit. In my opinion, Carmody
has one last chance to prove that he can recruit. If the 2006-2007
proves to be just like all the rest than he has to go and NU has to pay
whatever it takes to get a top notch coach who can tell players who
won't hustle to go find somewhere else to play.
Baseball is another program that has gone nowhere since the days of Fred
Lindstrom and isn't likely to improve as long as there is no change in
that coaching staff.
