[NU Sports] Statement from the Northwestern Gridiron Network

Tammy, Abbey, Jamie, Coaches, Staff and Players:

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our Coach and
dear friend.  We are overwhelmed with emotion when we
think of all the great things Randy accomplished in his
life.  He was an amazing coach, mentor, husband, father
and friend.  Randy truly made a "difference in
Northwestern Football" and we are honored to be able to
continue his legacy of developing world class student
athletes at one of the country's top institutions.

On behalf of all of the members of the Northwestern
Gridiron Network, our condolences go out to the entire
Walker family and his Coaches, Staff and Players.  His
legacy on and off the football field will never be
forgotten.  He will be truly missed.
