This was a huge joke here in Hoosierland when the sanctions were 
announced.  Sampson can't pick up the phone and call a recruit, but he 
can receive phone calls from recruits and he can initiate contact by 
e-mail, instant message, or text message.  It doesn't take a genius 
(thousand of IU fans figured it out immediately) to realize that all he 
has to do is text "Call me now at 1-800-IUHOOSIERS! -Coach Sampson" to 
some kid and immediately get a phone call back.
