Northwestern Men's Basketball Announces Roster Change
Bernard Coté will not return to men's basketball program

EVANSTON, Ill.-Northwestern men's basketball coach Bill Carmody announced Thursday that senior Bernard Coté (St. Lambert, Quebec/Champlain-St. Lambert) will not return for his senior season with the Wildcats.

"Bernard has decided not to return for his fifth season," Carmody said. "He has chosen to leave after he graduates this weekend."


Coté, who will receive his degree in communication studies, averaged 4.2 points and 2.3 rebounds last year for the Wildcats. He played in a total of 27 games with 18 starts. He sat out the 2004-05 season after transferring from the University of Kentucky in 2004.
