In the quote from the above referenced story; is this unusual for a  
perspective player to commit without ever having met the coach, his staff  or his 
teammates? Does this speak well for the program and/or the University? I  am 
thinking the recruiter must have one hell of a convincing sales  pitch. 
Perplexed.
