Speaking of the shame.  On Saturday I finished the Sunburst marathon, which finishes on the NDs 50-yard line.  This is the first time I have been in that stadium and it does look nice  -- very professional.  They must pay their players well ;-)  Too bad the rest of South Bend is not up to that level of the stadium.  Most marathons highlight the "good" points in their towns.  This one had a lot of running in parking lots.

2005-6 has to be our best sports year ever.  Team national title, individual national titles, all-america awards, tons of big ten titles, tons of NCAA tournament appearances, and a bowl game.

The Cats are putting on a show in sports at we are at a disadvantage in.  LAX -- non-eastern school and Softball -- non-northern school.  Only Oregon State made the WS from north of the mason-dixon line and they aren't really a "cold" weather school.
