[NU Sports] Cats win again!

Northwestern Women are awesome!

These ladies not only play the game the way that it is supposed to be played
(pitching, defense, and unselfish hitting), but also never gave up.  

As others have mentioned, they were victims of bad calls all night.  Both
the home plate umpire and the first base umpire clearly missed several key
calls that resulted in runs.  Rather than fold their tent, but kept playing
and scratched out (pun intended) a dramatic win.

If Alabama is any indication of the level of competition they are going to
face, I think that they have an excellent chance to win it all.

I stumbled onto game on "The Deuce" last night and was enthralled and
thrilled.  Game was taught and well-played, and 'Cats played with grit and
heart--yeah, like Lacrosse Women and Gridiron Guys.  Their Coach is a
terrific leader.  Most importantly, for this Alum who suffered at the
"Peyton Manning" 
(Citrus) Bowl, we exacted some revenge (albeit nearly a decade  late) on the
Vols.  
Now, about that possible match with the Bruins (UCLA),  wouldn't it be nice
to knock them off, too, after the Sun Bowl  heartbreak?!!  Loved all the
Purple Hair on the fans and references to  Purple Power and Pride.
