Another possible opponent on Sunday is UCLA. As I understand it, UCLA
plays Alabama tomorrow in the second game of the day. The winner of
that game will play Texas in one of the night games. Then, the winner
of that game plays us on Sunday at noon (or, more likely, around 12:30)
Central time on Sunday. If we win that game, we're in the finals. If
we lose that one, we play that same team on Sunday night for the right
to go to the finals. The finals are a best 2-of-3 series beginning on
Monday night.
So, as of now, we're in fat city. We (along with the other Wildcats
from Arizona in their half of the draw) only need to win one more game
to get to the championship round. All of the other teams need to win 3
or 4 more games to get to the finals.
J.R. is right - these games are exciting, and sometimes quite tense. Go
Cats!
