[NU Sports] Cats Win!

The only thing that marred the proceedings were the two blown calls that led to
Alabama coming back.
The ball that hit the end of the bat was pretty obvious, altho they don't have
instant replay. Just prior to that, there was another call by the home plate
umpire that appeared to be wrong also but its been lost in the grumbling about
the ball hitting the bat being called a hit batsman.
I also thought the strike zone moved around a bit, but those calls usually went
our way so ... The umps also were using the major league first base out rule -
in many cases, the tie doesn't go to the runner. It cost us a couple of base
runners.
But all in all, NU should have won this one in the first inning. I wonder if the
Cats just had a slight case of nerves?
