[NU Sports] Thoughts on our new coach: Trust the Plan

We have to think in terms of some down years.  As we all seem to realize,' 06 
was going to be tough without Baz--not to mention how hard it will be to 
repeat some of the last second wins  that we pulled out of nowhere (such as Iowa)  
--though I suppose the "smart" teams win more of those than they lose .  The 
BT will probably be weak and that should help us out with the lower rated 
teams.

But with almost any new coach, one has to believe that you lose a bit in the 
begininng during a transition--and with  someone who has no head coaching 
experience,  (forget for a moment his age) just the general management of  the 
team will be a learning process.  So yes, I think Fitz. with his smarts, 
attitude, understanding about what NU athletics is all about will prove to be a great 
chocie down the road, but we have to be prepared for some down time.  I hope 
it's only a year or 2--(I believe Ara was 0-8 one year with NU)
