[NU Sports] A Word of Caution (fwd)

Inspiration comes from having a basic confidence in your own gut about what
is right and wrong. It comes from being willing to accept the risk of
failure in order to take advantage of the opportunity to be successful.

We are asking a lot of this young man because his mistakes are going to be
out there in the open on a big stage for everyone to see. It isn't his
success that is going to make him a great coach, it is how he deals with his
failures. I agree with previous posts regarding advise I would give Fritz.
Be yourself, trust your instincts, learn by taking chances, making mistakes,
and overcoming adversity.

Jeff

A single thread that is common among all successful individuals is their
ability to inspire and motivate those around them and to pick associates who
are tops in the profession. From what I have heard about Coach Fitz he has
an abundance of these qualities. It follows, therefore, that he will be
successful.
Hell, anybody can draw up an offense and defense scheme. The problem is to
get men to carry them out.
